Sophie graduated from the University of Otago in 2017. She has worked in a wide range of specialties in Christchurch before entering general practice, including completing a Diploma of Child Health in 2019. For her, the highlight of general practice is getting to know her patients and their wider whānau, and practising preventative medicine. She enjoys all aspects of general practice and is working towards her RNZCGP fellowship. She spends the time outside of work going on excursions around Christchurch with her two young boys.
