Lauren grew up rurally in Westport and moved to Christchurch in 2008 to complete a Bachelor’s Degree at the University of Canterbury majoring in biochemistry and genetics. She subsequently moved to Dunedin to study medicine and then practiced primarily in Palmerston North, both at the hospital and later in General Practice. Lauren and her husband made the move down to Canterbury last year and love it here! Lauren started at Halswellhealth in July 2025 after a period of maternity leave and is so excited to be here. When she’s not at work she has a beautiful baby daughter who keeps her on her toes. Lauren loves to cook, attend pilates and aerial classes and travels with her family as much as possible. She is looking forward to getting to know the beautiful community enrolled with Halswellhealth.
