Lisa has a Nursing background and has worked in Primary and Secondary care in UK and NZ. She is our Health and Improvement Practitioner(HIP).
She is trained in  Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy and works with people across all age groups. She is particularly interested in the effects of social connections on health and well-being.
She is available to see patients at the practice with a variety of issues including anxiety, low mood, sleep issues and stress. She can also support people to improve their well being with diet, exercise, medication adherence or with psychological barriers affecting their chronic health condition eg. diabetes, asthma, high blood pressure.
Appointments with Lisa are free of charge. Patients can be referred by their GP or practice nurse.
