We look forward to continuing to care for you in Level 2, whilst observing Ministry of Health Guidelines to limit with risk of Covid 19.

Virtual Appointments

Under Alert Level 2 the Ministry of Health encourages that, if appropriate, consultations be virtual – either by phone or video. Virtual consults have worked well for during Level’s 3 and 4 and are really easy to set up.  You can find a short instructional video on how to do so here

Alternatively, please feel free to ask one of our friendly receptionists to set you up with a virtual appointment when you call us.

Please note, if you have a virtual appointment booked – please be available at your appointment time and wait for the doctor to call you.

A virtual consult will not be appropriate in every case and please be assured that if you need to see someone in person, we are here to help and do have face to face appointments available.

Coming in to see us? Please remember to wear a mask, sanitise your hands and scan in!

All health services are available under Level 2 guidelines, but we will manage bookings to allow physical distancing.

Our waiting room will be set up to allow physical distancing. Please arrive at your appointment time (not early). Reception will be monitoring numbers in the waiting room and may ask you to wait in your car.

If you are experiencing cold or flu symptoms, please call us and a nurse or doctor will call you back to arrange either a “red stream” appointment with appropriate safety measures, and/or a Covid swab.

Please ensure you either scan in or sign in on the forms provided – this includes any support people you might be bringing with you.

Appointment Duration

Please remember that appointments are 15 minutes long. If you require more time or have multiple issues, please book a double appointment.  This helps us manage our waiting room.

We would also like to acknowledge the support we have received from our community over the past few weeks.

Please continue to be patient with our team – we are doing the best we can to offer the care you need under Level 2.
